In the year 2016, it was no secret which political party Actor Prince David Osei was in support of. He made it very clear that he wanted the current president Nana Akuffo Addo to win, and his mind hasn’t changed.

He thinks our current president is on the right course and is leading us to a better place, so therefore deserves another four years to continue his good works.

Prince clearly stated that, President Mahama is an Ex president, so it was wrong for his party to have nominated him again as their flag bearer. He mentioned Alban Bagbin and Ekow Spio Garbrah as people who could have been nominated instead. To him, it is an insult to Ghanaians for John Mahama to want to come back and take the seat as president.

In spite of his stance with the NDC party, he still supports his colleague John Dumelo for his decision to venture into politics and is willing to campaign for him to win the seat as MP.

In Prince’s view, the country should have a work book with all the plans and projects to be achieved by the country clearly mapped out in it, so that every political party that comes to power will not deviate from all these agreed plans, but continue to implement them. He thinks this will move us forward, rather than leaving everything to politicians, who for cheap political vendetta usually destroy the good things started by a previous government.

He also thinks that the 4year term is too short, he advocates for eight or ten years for every president, so we can clearly see their progress.

Prince refused to disclose whether or not he would vote for NPP, but he didn’t have to say it, it is already obvious who he is going to vote for.

At the end of the interview, he gave a very sound advice to all Ghanaians, to exercise their franchise peacefully come December 7th. He said no one should die a stupid death for politicians who we do not even know personally.
