This year has been one of the most hectic years in the music industry. Beefs have been one of the best shakers of the entertainment industry. And the music sector is the most popular sector that is more engrossed in the business of beefs. These beefs below undoubtedly held us down in the previous year.
1. Asem beefs Sarkodie.
The age-old Asem who is now abroad based resurfaced last year. His return was not normal. He was back into the scene as he was spotted in a head to head battle with the ace rapper Sarkodie. This beef ended on a sour note as Sarkodie released his sub-zero diss track in which he listed his price list for beefs.
2. Stonebwoy beefs Sarkodie.
The Putuu hitmaker Stonebwoy found himself in police custody once again in 2020 for landing heavy blows on the face of Sarkodie’s manager. This event led to a hot social media banter in which led to Stonebwoy pronouncing Sarkodie as a badman for not accepting his apologies but rather processing the case into a legal involvement.
3. Samini beefs Stonebwoy.
Samini was spotted on Twitter shading Stonebwoy his godson for neglecting him and being ungrateful after rising him to fame. Stonebwoy in turn returned the shadings. However, this beef was later sorted out in the year. Stonebwoy was even later recognized at a radio interview saying Samini is like a brother and good friend to him.
4. Freda Rhymz beefs Sister Afia.
Freda Rhymz and Sister Afia’s beef was one of the unforgettable events of the year. They started this beef on Social media and were both invited to the TV3 premises to sort out the issue. Expectedly, the peace meeting caught fire and migrated into a physical assault between the two which left many people on social media lambasting them. This beef was also calmed in the end as Freda and Afia collaborated on a musical piece titled “saucy”.
5. Eno beefs Medikal and Sister Afia.
Eno the rap queen of kings gifted a portion of his talent in a musical parcel to MDK and Sister Afia after they seem to have triggered the sleeping lioness. The diss track by Eno was all over social media. You can still check out the track just in case you missed it. It is available on all music platforms and indeed it’s “argument done”.
The covid-19 year was indeed a loaded year.
