It has emerged that alleged notorious fraudster, Hushpuppi has fired his lawyers, Mr Gal Pissetzky and Vicki Podberesky from prison ahead of his imminent trial which is expected to be heard on February 22, 2021.
The lawyers have revealed that despite numerous attempts by them to communicate with their client, Mr Ramon Olorunwa Abass alias Hushpuppi through his family and prison and jail staff, he has failed to reach respond to them.
Mr Gal Pissetzky said, “After several months of discussion with Mr Abass and negotiations with the US government, Mr Abass refuses to communicate with me”
He revealed that Hushpuppi reached out to him on January 21, 2021, of his intention to retain a new counsel and for that matter left with no choice than to withdraw from the case

Hushpuppi is standing trial in the United States of America for money laundering and fraud charges following his arrest in Dubai last year.
