In the early hours of yesterday, notorious Instagram ghost blogger, ThoseCalledCelebs made wild allegations on her page that popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal and his wife, Fella Makafui begged the CEO of Pinamang to advertise for her at no charge just to cover his fraudulent dealings.
The allegation, which saw a lot of social media users troll the musician and ridicule him for stopping low in this manner has finally seen a reaction from the camp of the Frimpongs.
Fella Makafui’s manager, who also acts as spokesperson for the family, Richmond Sarpong in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM earlier this morning disclosed that it was rather the CEO of Pinamang Cosmetics who reached out to Fella Makafui in 2018 to sign her as an ambassador but due to the numerous messages in Fella’s DM, she couldn’t reply on time.
He added that it was until the peak period of the coronavirus pandemic that Fella Makafui finally made out time and saw the message from the Pinamang CEO and finally replied her.
Concerning reports that Fella and her husband were paid just Ghc1000 to do all the adverts because they were in it for their own gains, Richie describe those reports as palpable lies.
According to him, Medikal received between $20,000 to $50,000 and Fella Makafui charged betweeen $10,000 to $30,000.
