Thegossipmall.com has picked up reports that a Chinese national identified as Sun Qiang has been enstooled as a chief in Afram Agya a small town in Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern Region.
Sun Qiang, who now be known as Barima Kofi Ayeboafo by the people of the area was enstooled as the “Nk)s) Hene” which translates to mean development chief yesterday, 5th September 2020.
From some photos that have come out after the enstoolment, we can report that a grand-durbar was held at the Kwahu Abetifi palace to officially unveil Sun Qiang as the newly enstooled “Nk)s) Hene” of the traditional area.
Already, some Ghanaians believe that it is totally wrong for a Chinese to become a King in Ghana.
However, while the whole thing might look bizarre on the surface, it makes some amount of sense that if indeed the Chinese in question is causing developments in the traditional area, they give him the official title.
