Afia Schwarzenegger in a video has expressed her displeasure on how the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo and other stakeholders in the fight of the Covid-19 pandemic are mishandling the current situation of SHS students who are faced with the dangers of contracting the virus.

One of her sons in the video played an audio he received from a schoolmate in Kumasi High. The boy in the audio recounts how three boys there have tested positive for the virus, and more to be tested through contact tracing.

This adds up to the number of cases already recorded in Accra Girls and Wesley girls, with one student dead at KNUST Shs from neglect by school authorities for fear of being Covid-19 positive.

Afia Schwarzenegger has appealed to the government to take the plight of aggrieved parents into consideration and do something about the situation before it escalates.

She however, stated that there’s no way she’s allowing her twin sons back to school, even if it means they have to repeat a class.
