Award-winning Ghanaian media personality, Shirley Tibilla, popularly known as Cookie Tee has ditched EIB Network and joined the Media General brand.
Her move to Media General, that is TV3 and 3FM was announced this morning on the official social media pages of the vibrant media house.
Reports thegossipmall.com has picked up says that self-acclaimed Global Ambassador for the United Nations (UN), Kwame Fordjour, popularly known as Dr UN has been arrested.
He was arrested on the premises of Kumasi based Hello FM after an interview earlier today.
Following the huge embarrassment, some top Ghanaian celebrities like Sarkodie, Berla Mundi, D-Black, Chairman Wontumi, Captain Smart, and others have suffered in the hands of social media users after it emerged that they were allegedly given some fake “UN Kofi Annan Excellence Awards”, some of they have shyly gone to their pages to delete the pictures they took and shared on their respective Facebook and Instagram pages.
Broadcaster journalist and events MC, Berla Mundi was the first in the tall list of these celebrities to delete these embracing photos to slow down the trolls which were coming her way.
One would think that tweeps will be charitable and sympathize with the likes of Sarkodie and many other top Ghanaian celebrities who were allegedly scammed by one Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour but that is not the case at all.
Tweeps have turned on these celebs, with BET award-winning rapper Sarkodie suffering most of the trolls.
On Saturday, August 29, 2020, one Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour presented a UN/Kofi Annan Global Excellence In Leadership Award Trophy to multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper and boss of the Sarkcess Music record label, Sarkodie.
Before this day, similar trophies had been presented to broadcast journalists Berla Mundi and Johnnie Beresford Hughes (both workers of Media General), a former speaker of Ghana’s parliament, a former VC of Legon, and many other top personalities in the Ghanaian society.
