Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the father of late Ghanaian songstress, Ebony Reigns has dragged the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rufftown Records, Ricky Nana Agyemang otherwise known as Bullet, to court.
We have gathered that Nana Opoku Kwarteng, aka Starboy Kwarteng is demanding songs of his deceased daughter from the Record Label after her contract expired.
He resorted to making this demand through the law court.
As it stands now, the duration of the contract has not been disclosed to the public, but Bullet disclosed in an interview some years ago that Ebony Reigns benefited 40 per cent of the contract signed with Rufftown Records/Midas Touch Inc.
Barely a year ago, the father of the deceased confirmed that the contract was intact following her daughter’s demise—and he was receiving the agreed 40 per cent of revenue on songs composed by Ebony Reigns.

The promising dancehall diva sadly passed away on February 8, 2018, following a car crash on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

Bullet yesterday revealed in a post that he had lost an uncle identified as Yaw because of his locked up cash at the now-defunct Menzgold Ghana Company Limited owned by Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1.

After his post people started asking why he would link the death of his uncle to Menzgold when his death could have been caused by something else.
Reacting to the comment from Bullet, the 6:30 singer referred to him as a dumb person for him to just come out and say something without backing it up with images and autopsy reports.
According to her, Bullet is a better person to know that the Menzgold case is in court and until the court gives it final verdict on the case, nothing can be done.

On a post he made on Instagram, Bullet said that the late Ebony Reigns is the best ever in the music business similarly as any semblance of Michael Jackson, Tupac, Bob Marley, and different legends.
He guaranteed that he has never had an experience with such an ability since the time the destruction of the performer.
He wrote in a long Instagram post by saying “Everyday, i receive tons of messages and music from various female artistes who desire to be signed unto my label but it is always hard for me to comprehend because they all sound like my precious Queen, Ebony Reigns.
I know and can categorically state that no one can replace Ebony Reigns, so, it is always hard for me to sign them.
Remember i never mentioned anywhere that i wanted to replace Ebony reigns, not even when i was introducing the current reigning queen of Ghana music @wendyshayofficial because ebony is irreplaceable. Ebony is like Bob Marley ,Tupac and Michael Jackson. She is irreplaceable. She is the first female artiste of the year and she is still the artiste of the year even after her demise. It has been almost 3 years, y’all not scared of such an icon. This is free advice to all young upcoming female artistes, everyone can take inspiration from Ebony but never try to talk or sound like her. Originality is supreme. Long live the queen, Ebony reigns forever.”
