In an old interview with Abeiku Santana on UTV years ago, Samini explained why he left his protege Stonebwoy left his Highgrade camp.
According to Samini, Stonebwoy signed a five-year contract with Highgrade Family and after the contract expired, he left with a mutual consent without any bad blood. Samini explained that he is also an Artiste and he finds it as part of his corporate social responsibility to help up and coming Artistes, the reason he signs and nurtures Aristes

Samini opined that he invests in the talents for people to know what those talents are made of so that Ghanaians and the world at large will accept their music and after getting accepted by the people, he then allows the Artistes to move and to be on his own. According to him, his only mission in nurturing Artistes is to get their music accepted, nothing more.

This thus contradicts Samini’s assertions yesterday tagging Stonebwoy as a “bad person and would soon blow up his cover for Ghanaians to know who Stonebwoy truly is”.
