Celebrated Ghanaian actor, Alex Kofi Adu aka Agya Koo has composed a new song for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of its campaign.
This new song comes as a surprise to many especially after Agya Koo has publicly declared, some time past, that he didn’t benefit from campaigning for the NPP and does not think he will be embarking on such a venture again.
Agya Koo has titled the new campaign song ‘AFA’ which in a way is telling all Ghanaians that President Akufo-Addo has indeed won the seat for the second term already.
Also, the song seeks to solicit for the votes of the electorate in favour of the incumbent leader and Agya Koo has released a video to accompany the song in a bid to drive the message to the grass root and win more votes for the NPP.
Agya Koo has always been a strong supporter of the NPP and has never shied away from displaying his political pigmentation to the world.
In 2016, he embarked on a crusade dubbed ‘Operation 57’ for the then-candidate Akufo-Addo which to a great extent came to pass and eventually Akufo-Addo made it to the Jubilee House.
He was also a strong force that strongly criticized the Mahama-administration and labelled it as ‘incompetent’ for his reasons that he failed to deliver to the expectations of Ghanaians in terms of energy, economy and what are view.
Celebrities have started to throw their supports behind their political ‘crush’ and Agya Koo has gone a notch higher to drop a song to express how patriotic he is for the New Patriotic Party.
