In US, people shoot and kill others more than any other pandemic or virus out there.The availability of guns has made it easy for people to shoot and kill each other at the slightest provocation.
A young Ghanaian rapper, Jay Gunk and two other people have been at the receiving end of such gun violence. Jay Gunk who lives in Bronx a Suburb of New York unfortunately died, so did one of the victims, while one is still receiving treatment at the Barnabas hospital in New York.
A CCTV footage found by the police shows a man shooting these three victims.
The police at the New York Police Department received the 911 call on 5th July from one of the victims. The police statement read;
“On Sunday, July 5th, police officers from 44 precinct responded to a 911 call from a male shot at 306 East 171 Street. Upon arrival they discovered three males with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims later died from their injuries, while one remains hospitalized.
